Mark R. Patrick, CPA
Mark Patrick has been
a Jacksonville CPA since 1976. In 1982,after seven years experience
practicing in two local firms, he established his own firm,
offering comprehensive services to clients in diversified industries.
Concurrently, he was appointed vice president-finance with
an emerging software company, but by 1986, his client base
had grown and he began working exclusively with his CPA firm.
Mr. Patrick received his formal training through a bachelor
of science degree in accounting from Valdosta State University
in 1971 and an MSBA from Boston University in 1974, along with
additional post graduate classes. He's a member of the Florida
Institute of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants and the National Society of Tax
Professionals. In addition, Patrick & Robinson CPAs’ high
standards were recognized in 2004 when the firm was selected
as Northeast Florida’s only member of CPAConnect, a nation-wide
network of proven CPAs that handles local and national accounting
needs.
During his years of practice, Mr. Patrick has served his industry,
community and church in a variety of ways. As a frequent discussion
leader with the North Florida Small Business Development Center,
a program of the Small Business Administration, he's offered professional
assistance to emerging businesses, and also served as president
of the Small Business Resource Network. He also founded the CPA
Club of Jacksonville, and served as chairman and finance chairman
of his church board, offering administrative leadership through
pastoral transitions and large fund-raising campaigns. He currently
is serving his 15th year as the North Florida District treasurer.
