John Petherbridge, CPA
John Petherbridge joined Patrick & Robinson CPAs as a principal after successfully growing his own accounting practice—Petherbridge, Davis & Company—for more than three decades. Always dedicated to his clients’ needs, he sought the additional resources Patrick & Robinson CPAs offers, and the P&R and PDC teams merged in 2012.
Previously, John served with the Internal Revenue Service before launching his own practice in 1979.
Originally from Pennsylvania, he moved south when the Navy stationed him in Jacksonville. A runner in his youth, John now prefers traveling by air to visit his out-of-
state adult daughters while on vacation.
Timothy P. Raines, CPA
Tim Raines became a CPA in 1995 and he’s gained experience in all levels of accounting. He worked for a bookkeeping firm, local CPA firms and the “Big Four” international accounting and consulting firm of KPMG LLP.
Tim joined Patrick & Robinson CPAs in 2012 as tax manager. In addition to tax preparation and accounting services, he also analyzes clients’ financial records for tax return planning.
Tim advises businesses ranging from single owner/operator and nonprofit entities up to very large conglomerates on their accounting and tax needs.
His passion for computers helps clients evaluate their information technology (IT) needs and manage future growth. Tim’s IT expertise was recognized when he was named one of CPA Technology’s Top 40 CPAs under 40.
He received his Bachelor of Arts in accounting and his master’s degree of accountancy from the University of West Florida.
Tim maintains membership in multiple professional associations, including the Estate Planning Council of Northeast Florida and AICPA. He served as past president of FICPA and past chairman of its Personal Financial Planning Committee.
Senior Staff Accountant
Kathy Bordin has served Patrick & Robinson CPAs clients for more than 25 years, now as senior staff accountant. She supports the preparation of financial audits and maintains payroll records.
Kathy also prepares quarterly and annual payroll tax reports as well as corporate and individual tax returns. She holds extensive knowledge in QuickBooks and Peachtree programs.
Kathy attended the University of Central Florida, obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in education with a minor in mathematics.
Jacksonville native Teresa Bazley serves as a staff accountant at Patrick & Robinson CPAs. Her responsibilities include bookkeeping, accounting and corporate tax preparation.
She began her accounting career with the North Florida Erection Company in 1992. Since 1995, Teresa was an accountant with Carter & Company and remained on staff when the firm was acquired by Patrick & Robinson CPAs in 2006.
Teresa is a certified QuickBooks pro advisor, with experience in programs from 2000–2010 and QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions.
She received her bachelor’s degree from Huntington College in Montgomery, Alabama.
Karen Mayer joined Patrick & Robinson CPAs as a staff accountant following the acquisition of Petherbridge, Davis & Company. She assists with financial audits and reviews, and prepares financial statements and tax returns.
Karen’s strong analytical skill helps her organize financial audits and reviews and student financial aid audit testing.
Karen received her education from Florida State College at Jacksonville and work-related accounting and computer courses.
Sharon Bradley joined the Patrick & Robinson CPAs team as a staff accountant following the 2012 acquisition of Petherbridge, Davis & Company.
Sharon prepares tax returns for individuals and corporations, financial statements, payroll, and accounting for clients. She also assists with the resolution of federal and state tax notices and audits.
Sharon gained her education in accounting while attending Lakeland Community College and Florida State College at Jacksonville.
Eric Wilderman joined the Patrick & Robinson CPAs team in September 2015. Educated at Brigham Young University—Idaho campus, he gained experience in several fields, such as retail management, financial lending and accounts payable.
His love of numbers eventually won him over, so Eric returned home to Jacksonville to pursue a master’s degree in accountancy and a CPA credential. Prior to Patrick & Robinson CPAs, Eric spent time at Merrill Lynch as an operations analyst. His sharp attention to detail makes him an ideal addition to our audit department.
Eric is a member of both FICPA and AICPA. When he’s not slaving over a hot spreadsheet or working a review for one of his favorite industries, construction, Eric enjoys time spent with his family, at the beach, and doing woodwork.
Mary O’Dell graduated with honors from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas in 2010, with a BBA in accounting.
Mary started her accounting career at Edgar, Kiker & Cross PC, in Beaumont, where she gained six years’ experience.
Relocating back to her hometown of Jacksonville, Mary joined Patrick & Robinson CPAs in November 2016. She holds experience in financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, financial statement preparation, write up services, tax return preparation, and general ledger accounting. Mary is currently pursuing her CPA license.
In her free time, Mary enjoys crafting, boating, exploring the natural springs around Florida, and, most of all, spending time with her family.
Lynn Barwell joined Patrick & Robinson CPAs in 2004, adding experience in administrative and organizational tasks. She serves as office manager and client relations coordinator, monitoring daily operations such as marketing activities and customer service.
Lynn performed similar duties with Christian Heritage Academy for 13 years as a secretary and assistant administrator. Her career also included clerical services for a bank, mortgage company and marine freight transportation business. She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Strayer University.
Originally from England, Lynn has lived in Jacksonville for more than 30 years and especially enjoys the warm weather. She holds a leadership role in her church and helps with events for her daughter’s small business.
Karina Crane, originally from Puerto Rico, joined the team in early 2015 as our administrative assistant. She spent several years as a manager at McDonald’s, supervising both the guest services and human resources areas.
Karina enjoys an active lifestyle, especially running on the beach and hiking. She finds interest in crafting, reading, cooking, painting, and wants to learn how to garden.
Karina gives back to the community by volunteering at Memorial Hospital and Lutheran Social Services.
