Tax Reform Changes Button

The tax reform law, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), passed and signed in late 2017 took full effect, for the most part, in 2018. Be ready for lots of changes: our 2019 Tax Season will be unlike any in recent memory.

Patrick & Raines CPAs knows much uncertainty still exists about the law—and for good reason: the IRS continues to issue guidelines about it! (And will for the foreseeable future.) This resource page provides our interpretations of and thoughts about the law’s provisions.

We recommend you check back often, since more forms and regulations are still being published (and we’ll update this page and information accordingly). More importantly, we’ve moved from a “one dimensional” tax code to a “multi-dimensional” law (explained in our downloadable information packet), so multi-year tax planning becomes more important than ever.

The good news? P&R’s proven tax accounting team remains committed to providing you the advice and preparation you need to ensure your unique tax planning yields the results you desire. Contact us at your convenience with your questions or to schedule an appointment.
